What is included in my registration fees?
Conference registration includes admission to the Exhibit Show, the Wednesday Welcome Reception, all program sessions on Thursday and Friday including the keynotes, breakouts, half-day workshops, sponsored spotlights, personal renewal sessions, light continental networking breakfasts, Friday's Pioneer Award lunch, and the Thursday evening Exhibit Show Wine & Cheese Reception.
Are there any bundles being offered for Conference 2009?
This year, we're pleased to offer delegates special rates. Choose the one that's right for you and your organization:
- $999 – Early-bird Registration Package rate (Best Value)
- $799 – Early-bird Registration rate (valid until July 31)
- $599 – Executive Package rate
- $1,879 – Corporate Bundle rate

Is there a group rate?
For groups of 10 or more individuals, the discount rate is $799 per person, and for groups of 12 or more individuals the rate is $699 per person even after the early-bird deadline. Please follow the instructions on the registration form to qualify for the group rate.
Why does everyone from a group need to register within seven days of one another?
In order to manage group registrations, we must have all individuals (i.e. 10 or more) of the group register within seven days to ensure the correct discount rate is processed.
Is there a student rate?
If you hold a valid student card from a credited institution, the discount rate is $599. You must submit a photocopy of your student card to the Conference Office by fax at 604.689.4486 in order to qualify for the discounted rate.
Do I need to sign up for the evening events beforehand?
We recommend that you pre-register for the Wednesday Welcome Reception and the Thursday Exhibit Show Wine & Cheese Reception.

Can I wait until I arrive at the conference to choose my sessions?
Due to maximum capacities in some presentations, we ask that you make your session selections at the time of registration to ensure that you can attend your choice of sessions.
I'm bringing a guest with me to the Health Work & Wellness™ Conference. What is my guest allowed to attend?
You may invite guests at no charge to the Wednesday Welcome Reception, the Thursday Exhibit Show Wine & Cheese Reception, and the Exhibit Show on Thursday afternoon. You may also register your guest for the Thursday evening event for an additional charge. Please register your guests for these events on your registration form.
Guests cannot attend conference sessions on Thursday or Friday. However, your guests can register for the pre-conference and post-conference sessions (additional charges apply).
If I cannot attend, can a colleague attend in my place?
A written request must be provided via email indicating your full name and the name of your colleague who will be attending in your place. There is a $25 administration fee to process a name change request at any time.

Health Work & Wellness™ Conference 2009: Taking Care of Business is being held at:
The Hilton Lac Leamy in Gatineau, 3, Boulevard du Casino, Gatineau-Ottawa, Quebec, Canada J8Y 6X4, Tel: 1-819-790-6444.
The conference has negotiated the reduced rate of $209.00 per night for delegates and is holding a large block of rooms. Delegates are responsible for booking their own hotel reservations either online or by telephone. Please book early for accommodations, which are available on a first come-first served basis.

Are there any other hotels nearby?
There are other hotels located near the Hilton Lac Leamy. Should you wish to stay somewhere other than the conference hotel, you will be responsible for contacting the hotel of your choice directly for rates and reservations. A list of hotels in Gatineau can be found at: www.tripadvisor.com
Transportation
How far is the hotel from the airport?
The Hilton Lac Leamy is located across the Ottawa River from Ottawa. It is 22km from Ottawa's Macdonald-Cartier International Airport and 25km from the Gatineau Airport. Depending on which airport you arrive at, it will take you approximately 25-30 minutes to get to the hotel.
Is there transportation available from the airport to the hotel?
Please visit the hotel's website for transportation information from the airport. There are no shuttles or buses so please take a cab from either of the airports.
Food & Beverage
What type of food can I expect at the Health Work & Wellness™ Conference?
As a registered delegate, the following meals are included as part of your registration fee.
- Breakfast – light continental breakfast buffet on Thursday and Friday
- Lunch – lunch buffet on Friday
- Wellness Breaks – will consist of a variety of juices, water, coffee and tea.
- Please note that the Thursday lunch is not provided at the Conference. Restaurants are available nearby, but to avoid wait times and encourage networking and more time at the Exhibit Show, we are encouraging participants to pre-order a boxed lunch. There are almost two hours scheduled for the lunch. The boxed lunch includes: Whole grain sandwich and wrap - roast beef, chicken or vegetarian - raw vegetables with dip, a piece of whole fruit, a large home-baked oatmeal cookie and a choice of an assorted soft drink or juice.
** If you have special dietary restrictions and/or are allergic to certain food products, please be sure to indicate this on your registration form so that we can accommodate your request.
Cancellation & Refund
If I have to cancel, can I get a refund?Any cancellation requests received no later than August 21, 2009 will be fully refunded, less a $50 administration fee. A written request must be provided via email. Since many of our expenses are incurred within the month prior to the conference, delegate cancellation requests received past this date cannot be refunded.

Are there any volunteering opportunities available for interested individuals?
If you are interested in volunteering at the Health Work & Wellness™ Conference, please email your name and contact information, how many hours you'd like to volunteer along with a brief description of your experience in the field of organizational health.
Continuing Education Credits
How do I get documentation to use Health Work & Wellness™ Conference as part of my educational hours?
Please email a request for your Letter of Attendance and indicate your complete name and contact information along with the conference year that you would like the letter for. Please note that letters will be issued after the Conference has taken place.
